Tours into the depth of Morocco.
These tours will take you into Berber villages deep in Morocco. You'll get to meet locals and discover their traditions.

-
Is Morocco safe?Yes, Morocco is generally safe for tourists, and millions visit every year without issues. Petty crimes like pickpocketing can happen in busy areas, so keep an eye on your stuff. Violent crime is rare, and if you stick to well-traveled areas, use common sense, and stay cautious at night, you’ll be fine.
-
What is the best time to visit Morocco?Spring (Mar to May) and fall (Sep to Nov). Warm days, cool nights, good for hiking and exploring. Summer is too hot, winter is chilly but less crowded.
-
Worst time to visit Morocco?Summer is very hot and crowded. Ramadan has daytime closures and a quieter vibe. Eid Al Adha brings messy streets, closures, and travel disruptions.
-
Do I need a visa? Most travelers from the US, EU, Canada, and Australia do not need one for up to 90 days. Just bring a passport valid for at least 3 months. Some African and Asian countries need an e-visa, so check ahead.
-
What’s the currency? The Moroccan Dirham (MAD). You cannot get it abroad, so use ATMs or exchange once you arrive. Cash is important for markets and taxis, while cards work in bigger hotels and shops.
-
What languages are spoken?Moroccan Arabic (Darija), Amazigh in rural areas, and French in most cities. English is common in tourist spots. Learning a few Arabic words helps a lot.
-
Must-see places?Marrakech for souks, Fes for the medina, the Sahara for camel treks, Chefchaouen for blue streets, Essaouira for the beach, Casablanca for the Hassan II Mosque, and the Atlas Mountains for hiking.
-
How should I dress?Dress modestly. Women should cover shoulders and knees. Men should wear long pants outside touristy areas. Bring layers and comfy shoes.
-
Is it easy to get around?Yes. Use trains for big cities, buses and shared taxis for towns, and petit taxis in cities. Renting a car is good for mountains, but traffic can be chaotic.
-
What food should I try?Tagine, couscous, harira soup, pastilla, and street snacks like makouda and zaalouk. Vegetarians should ask clearly to avoid meat.
-
Customs to know?Use your right hand for eating and passing items. Take shoes off indoors. Haggle in souks. Accept tea offers. During Ramadan avoid eating in public. Greetings like salaam alaikum are always appreciated.
